Peter Körner is a distinguished German trombonist and educator, celebrated for his versatility across orchestral performance, solo playing, and teaching. He received his education at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen, where he studied under renowned professors such as Prof. Chris Houlding and Prof. Uwe Füssel.
As a performer, Körner has been a member of several leading German orchestras, most notably holding the position of principal trombone at the Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle Schwerin and the Mecklenburgische Staatsoper. His dynamic musicianship has also led him to appear as a guest with major ensembles including the Staatskapelle Weimar and other opera and symphonic orchestras across Germany. His stylistic clarity, rich tone, and deep musical understanding make him a compelling interpreter of both traditional and contemporary repertoire.
Beyond his orchestral work, Peter Körner is a passionate educator. He has taught at various institutions and led masterclasses throughout Europe. Süeda ÇATAKOĞLU
Pianist | Vocalist | Composer
Sueda Catakoglu is a pianist, vocalist, and composer whose artistic journey bridges classical music and global contemporary sounds. Known for her refined expression and strong musical identity, she has received several awards from prestigious competitions in Turkey, including the 3rd Prize at the 8th International Pera Piano Competition and the Verda Erman Special Prize at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Piano Competition. She was also awarded the 2nd Prize at the 1st Hacettepe University National Piano Competition, where she later performed under the invitation of legendary pianist Idil Biret.
Her career has taken her to acclaimed stages such as Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin, as well as leading venues in New York, Boston, and Toronto. She has worked with prominent artists including Maestro Daniel Barenboim, Klaus Thunemann, and Alkinoos Ioannidis, and has collaborated with musicians across a wide range of cultures and genres.
Sueda’s debut album Sueda Sings Sezen received critical acclaim from both Turkish and international press, praised for its emotional depth and bold reinterpretation of iconic songs. Her performances have been featured in festivals and renowned clubs including The Drom (NYC), Club Passim, and The Mad Monkfish, and her music has aired on curated stations such as Radio Voyage.
Currently signed with Ahenk Muzik in Istanbul, Sueda continues to develop new artistic projects, including an upcoming EP and a second studio album. Her work reflects a deep sensitivity to musical storytelling and a commitment to creating timeless, genre-defying interpretations.
