NİLÜFER SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The Nilüfer Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2003 by maestro Hasan Adıgüzelada and has been under the direction of chief conductor Deniz Tan since 2019.

Comprising highly trained musicians and dedicated artists, the orchestra performs a wide-ranging repertoire — from classical masterworks to contemporary compositions, choral collaborations to youth-focused initiatives.

Based in Bursa, the orchestra bridges traditional values with a modern artistic vision, performing on both local and international stages.

With a strong belief in the transformative power of music, the Nilüfer Symphony Orchestra is committed to bringing communities together, supporting young talents, and making classical music accessible and relevant to all.

ENSEMBLE UTAK

Ensemble Utak is a Berlin-based chamber group exploring the expressive potential of flute, viola, and harp. Their distinctive programs combine solo and trio works, offering audiences both intimacy and rich ensemble interplay.

Rooted in both ancient resonance and modern creativity, the ensemble’s name — Utak, meaning “paths” in ancient Hungarian — reflects their commitment to charting new artistic directions in contemporary and classical music.

Mutlu Iştar (expressive Turkish flautist),
Anna Jurriaanse (innovative Dutch violist), and
Cara Dawson (genre-bending British harpist)
bring together a shared passion for musical storytelling across eras and styles.

In addition to their trio performances, Ensemble Utak continues to expand its artistic range through collaborations, commissions, and festival appearances — including the prestigious Ensemble Modern’s Young Ensemble Academy.
